Virtual Earth Day Event

This Earth Day we are throwing a virtual Earth Day Event to celebrate the planet while social distancing! We are asking our members and anyone else to go outside and take some time to appreciate the beauty of nature and remind ourselves what we are protecting! Take a picture of the beautiful spot you chose and we will post it on our instagram. Dm us on Instagram @jr.earthkeepers or email us at jrearthkeeper@gmail.com to send us your picture! Additionally, we would love for you to tag us in anything you post to celebrate Earth Day!

Summer Long Plastic Pick-up

Each summer we will be having a summer long beach clean-up to protect our beautiful beaches and marine life! Anytime you go to the beach email us at jrearthkeeper@gmail.com the number of pieces of trash you pick-up and we will add it to our count.

The new T-shirts are here! The cost is $16. Let us know if you want one, and we will make it ready for pick-up.

Beach Clean-up and Bonfire

May 15, 2022

On Sunday, May 15th at 5:30 pm, we will be having a beach clean-up at Hidden Beach to kick start our summer-long beach clean-up. After the clean-up, at 6:30 pm, we will be having a celebratory bonfire and meeting.

Environmental Science Camp

Arianna Kessler, one of our founders, has developed an outdoor science curriculum that encourages environmental awareness and positive ecological behavior. The fun and interesting program is designed for elementary school age children and is presented in full detail in a website.

Supplies are available to Junior Earthkeepers who would like to lead this camp. Also, if you are interested in attending the camp, please contact us and we will provide you with information about dates.

Cookie Exchange

December 12, 2021

The 8th annual cookie exchange will be

Sunday, December 12 from 1 to 3 .

This year the cookie exchange will be to honor those who lost their lives from Covid-19 and the families who lost love ones.

Please bring 2 dozen cookies per child. For each 2 dozen cookies brought, Jr. Earthkeepers will be able to make 2 cookie plates, one to bring home and one to share and spread some holiday cheer.

We will also discuss what it means to be a Junior Earthkeeper. Please bring any ideas you have.
